Trailhead Millionaire
I am super happy to have finally reached the milestone of 1,000,000 points on Trailhead. This is a pretty rare achievement - SuperQbit shows fewer than 50 people have made it so I’m comfortable saying fewer than 100 people really have this (allowing for not everyone being on SuperQbit). That means this is rarer (but not harder or more valuable) than CTA!
There is no special prize for reaching huge points totals like this. There is no badge or amazing new status tier. Once you get past 300,000 points the levels run out and you are basically just doing this for yourself. Which to me makes it more meaningful. These points represent a journey of continues learning and improvement. I started learning about Salesforce less than 5 years ago and now I feel I know the platform reasonably well. But there is always more to learn!
Would I recommend others chasing large points totals? Not for the points. They don’t really matter. But if you want to learn, and have proof of your personal development then Trailhead is a great option.
For me the next step is total completion (of the available badges). This is hard as there are new badges all the time so you have to at least walk to stand still. And really run to catch up, especially if you started when there were already well over 1000 badges available. I’ll never catch the badge and points totals of those who were on Trailhead earlier than me - they have badges that are now retired but I’ll enjoy trying!
