Half a Million

This is basically a short post boasting about reaching a self-imposed goal in Trailhead and marking that at a point in time.

Having achieved the All Star Ranger rank in 2023 there were no more ranks to reach. So I needed to set some personal goals for Trailhead in 2024. I decided on 500,000 points and 1000 badges. Mostly as these were achievable and nice round numbers (and would also equate to 10x Ranger rank, another nice round number)

I’ve hit the 500,000 goal very early in the year. This was always going to happen as I was much closer to this goal! I’d have to say that hitting the 1000 badges looks easy but is getting harder. I am already finding I am doing badges that have little direct relevance to me/my role. It’s all interesting stuff but doing another almost 130 badges might be hard based on the badges that exist today. Of course I can look forward to lots of new and exciting badges this year

In terms of is this a big achievement? It’s more points than most but the current points leader on the superqbit leaderboard is on 1,122,056 so it’s less than half way to the top! We’ll see how that looks once I reach 1000 badges (also less than half way on that metric)
